Let’s Grow Together!

Our Mission

Our mission is to help girls, teens and women to achieve, discover, develop HER inner strengths, to love, and be her best self.

Our commitment is to help all ages set bold goals, be equipped and independent, by putting into practice the foundational principles to be the change and impact those around HER and the community.

Our collaboration with our partners and supporters is designed to offer girls and women the opportunity to grow from good to better and from great to greater!

Our Journey

“I was blessed with the opportunity of teaching and speaking to women and girls over the years, and the common factor was how we, as women, think of ourselves; this became the driving force behind the vision for SHE SHALL BE.

Only after adulthood did I realize I carried an albatross around my neck of low self-esteem and lack of self-confidence that contributed to my obsession to achieve and excel for recognition and the need to receive validation from others. This acknowledgment broke a stronghold and became the bedrock of principles and the undeniable fact that validation and empowerment came only from God and believing in myself.

As a mother with a daughter, I was determined that she would not struggle with feeling inferior but empowered to affirm and embrace HER uniqueness confidently. I believe I am an original, not a copy; no one is like me, and God designed me for his purpose. My passion is cultivating a healthy mindset, championing, and helping empower girls and women to be their best selves.”

“I grew up feeling set apart, unable to explain my differences, and unconfident in what God has called me to be. God turned it around for me, using what I thought was bitter life lemons into sweet lemonade. It wasn’t until COVID shut down that I, too, was led to take the leap and to help birth what we thought was an impossible dream SHE SHALL BE. This journey is personal because I am a wife, a sister, I have daughters, nieces, a granddaughter, and sisterhood is the transformation of healing.”

Shelby Miles-Clayton.

“So many women are taught that the path to success requires discipline, determination, and self-sufficiency in adulthood and that you no longer need to rely on others. This teaching process has negatively impacted our existence as women. As I grow older, my faith and the value of community have grown stronger.

I believe fellowship is essential to the soul. No one should do life alone. To mature and learn from our mistakes, we must be willing to do so in the company of people who love and support us. The connection of sisterhood is invaluable because it can nurture, protect, and invest in girls and women who may feel unseen, unheard, or unloved.

Our connections remind us that God created us with a specific purpose, and I am excited to be a part of SHE SHALL BE. Let our intentions help us to take ownership of our individuality, and where there is common ground, let us use our differences always to serve one another.”
